LISTENING SKILL

What is it?

Listening is a perceptive skill that involves identifying the sounds of speech and processing them into words and sentences. When listening, the ears receive the sounds, and the brain converts them in meaningful messages.  This skill requires extreme attention and focus. People who have problems concentrating are poor listeners. Remember listening and hearing are two completely different processes!
